Are your library story time groups up for the challenge? How many Rhyming Picture Books can your group read during National Poetry Month in April? This event celebrates Rhyming Picture Book (RPBs) authors and with your help, we will put more RPBs in the hands of children!
Please email me at Angie.karcher@yahoo.com if you are interested in participating. I will send you more information and get you signed up.
You MUST register by the first Friday in April to participate!
Copy and print this graphic below to display in your library. You can use it to tally the books read. Only books read to your groups as a whole count toward this total.
Please feel free to share this information with other librarians!
Eligible: Library Story Time Groups
The winners will be announced May 10th! The library who read the most RPBs will win a 30 minute Skype visit with a rhyming picture book author.
We would love to see your progress so feel free to share photos of your class and their Poetry Month activities on my Facebook Page:
I hope you and your kiddos enjoy reading the rhyming picture books as much as we love to write them!
Thanks for all you do and enjoy the rhyme!
