Teachers

Welcome to the Rhyme Revolution

Classroom Challenge!

Is your classroom up for the challenge? How many Rhyming Picture Books can your class read during National Poetry Month in April?  This event celebrates Rhyming Picture Book (RPBs) authors and with your help, we will put more RPBs in the hands of children!

Please email me at Angie.karcher@yahoo.com if you are interested in participating. I will send you more information and get you signed up.

You MUST register by the first Friday in April to participate!

Copy and print this graphic below to display in your classroom. You can use it to tally the books read. Books read to your class as a whole AND books the students read to themselves count toward this total.

Please feel free to share this information with other teachers at your school

Eligible Classrooms: Pre-school – 5th Grade Classrooms

The winners will be announced May 10th!  The classrooms who read the most RPBs will win a 30 minute Skype visit with a rhyming picture book author.

We would love to see your progress so feel free to share photos of your class and their Poetry Month activities on my Facebook Page:

Or request to join the Rhyme Revolution Private Facebook Group  and you can share the photos there.

You can also follow me on Twitter and Tweet about the Challenge at #rhypibomochallenge.

Please follow my Author Facebook Page

I hope you and your students enjoy reading the rhyming picture books as much as we love to write them!

Thanks for all you do and enjoy the rhyme!
